Candice Wilkins, LCSW

Licensed Clinical Social Worker |  LCSW108132

Candice Wilkins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Master of Social Work degree in 2019 and became a licensed clinician in 2022. Since 2014, she has been a dedicated part of the Center for Grief & Healing team at Hinds Hospice in Fresno, CA where she supports both adults and teens through a wide range of loss experiences. Her clinical focus includes complicated grief, post-traumatic stress related to the sudden or traumatic loss of a loved one, and grief associated with chronic or terminal illness—whether the client is a patient or the caregiver. Candice has a particular passion for working with individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide recognizing the unique challenges and support needs that come with this form of grief.

Her therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and blends evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused and Person-Centered Therapies, and EMDR. She tailors her work to align with each client’s personal needs, goals, and pace of healing.

Candice believes deeply in each person’s inherent capacity for healing and growth. She considers it an honor to walk alongside her clients as they navigate their pain, connect with their inner strength, and move forward with healing, clarity, and self-compassion.

Candice accepts private pay, sliding scale, Cal Viva, Medicare, BlueShield, Blue Cross, and others. Through our agency (Hinds Hospice) we have a finance department and administrative assistant that manages our insurances.
